À titre de professeure associée à l'Université du Québec à Montréal, je participe activement à de nombreux projets de recherche, congrès, formations, ainsi qu’à la rédaction d’articles scientifiques, à la promotion de la vulgarisation des résultats de recherche et à la formation d'étudiants. Mes domaines d’expertise en recherche portent sur la régulation des émotions, la mentalisation, les états mentaux et les stratégies défensives émotionnelles. À mon sens, la recherche en psychologie et la clinique s'alimentent, chacun apportant un éclairage complémentaire à notre compréhension du fonctionnement humain.
